1970 DS Pallas Citromatic with A/CThis car is a rare find. We are giving her a 9 out of 10!
The black leather interior is recent, very clean, and tear free. It also boasts immaculate black carpets. The headliner was recently done along with the roof paint. The US headlights were removed to allow space for the European headlight set-up. The US headlights are provided with the car.
The body is painted a metallic blue. There are some minor scratches and the 2 rear quarter panels have a dents and scratches due to improper tie down in a previous transport.
The car has Pallas trim and is equipped with OEM A/C recently converted over to R134 that will need a tune up. The Citromatic transmission has smooth upshifts and downshifts. The powertrain is healthy and will also need a tune up. The tires are tired and will need to be replaced at some point. The wheels are nicely wrapped with Citroen SM hub caps.
This beautiful DS is offered with a inspection report by the seller on behalf of its current owner with recent service records and a clean California title. The owner, sadly, is not able drive the car enough due to a heavy work schedule and travels abroad.
This very car was maintained by Wally, Hein Gysen, and Brad Mayo. Repair and Maintenance History from 2017 - 2020:2017: New radiator; new clutch; transmission, clutch and shifting adjustment; carburetor replacement; steering rack re-build; engine replaced; many trim and other parts were also replaced.2018: Thorough inspection and many tubes etc. replaced; replaced exhaust manifold gasket; new boots.2019: Checked all rubber tubes and brittle components and replaced; replaced break pads; changed spheres; adjudsted the complete steering/break hydraulic system2020: Replaced headlights (Euro), new oil filter, replaced door lock passenger side.

A Very rare Gem!
1967 DS convertible 2.3L EFI 5 Speed
This convertible for sale is in Germany.
It was built 8 years ago and has covered 9500 miles to date, not a daily driver.
It was built by 2 brothers who used to work for Opel (some 40 years), they left and built tools for stamping sheet metal and they started working with DS Manufaktur. They provide 10 pairs a year of metal rear panels for new builds of convertibles, a pre-requisite for a car to be certified Chapron quality.
Being car afficionados, they built DS cars as they loved them and had the relationship with DS Manufaktur who has been specializing on these builds since the 80s.
This car was owned by the brothers. They have outgrown their space and they are selling this one, DS Caddy and others.
